Health Hazards (Acute & Chronic)
Exposure can cause edema, irritation, potential
eye damage.
INGESTION will cause erosion,
diarrhea; respiratory failure potential, and edema.
SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE:
Repeated skin contact will cause dermatitis due to high pH. Detergent
emulsifier will cause diarrhea/nausea if ingested, edema, reddening of
contact point.
FIRST AID: Wash completely to remove, treat as mild caustic burn, consult
physician immediately.

Handling & Storing:Normal precautions handling
soaps, detergent solutions.
If spilled: Prevent futher spillage, absorb and remove in accordance with
local state & federal regulations for disposal per 40 CFR 261 defined
non-hazardous material.
Disposal: Dispose of in accordance with local,
and federal regulations.

emulsifiers know as SPILL CLEAN SOLUTION-100
(SCS-100).

Other Protective Equipment: Rubber boots.
